The journey from awareness to action
Why choose a pull approach as HR/L&D professionals.
It started small: a one-day workshop for around 70 people from 15 countries at a leadership networking event, designed to give a genuinely diverse group something practical they could take back to their day-to-day work. TetraMap was the input Anja Doil, a people development lead inside a global consultancy of roughly 13,000 employees across 28 countries, chose almost on a leap of faith.
What followed wasn’t a top-down rollout. Rather than forcing adoption from the top, Anja and a small group of early allies let interest grow naturally — workshop participants became advocates in their own teams, and momentum built through trust rather than mandate. Local HR leaders were certified as facilitators, a community of internal practitioners formed to share practice, and the language spread organically across the organisation.
Today the organisation counts 41 certified facilitators across 11 countries, and a critical mass of employees — in some countries, all of them — have been through a TetraMap workshop. What began as one language for describing communication styles is now becoming a shared mindset the organisation uses as a lens for tackling problems more broadly.
The challenge
Identifying the need for the change.
The solution
From leap of faith to lasting momentum.
The result
From a common language to a shared mindset.
